Pascale Jardin received a Master of Science (DEA) in Acoustics at Le Mans University in 1982
She obtained a PHD from the Université Paris VI in 1984 on "Differential Spectral analysis, and applications on speech processing".
She was a research-engineer at Thomson DTC during 3 months in 1985. She has then studied and simulated a MPLPC vocoder.
Since December 1985, she has been with the École Supérieure d’Ingénieurs en Électronique et Électrotechnique de Paris (ESIEE).
She is presently Professor with the department of Signal Processing and Telecommunication
Her research and teaching fields span the areas of signal processing for digital radiocommunications and digital speech processing.
Besides her scientific life, she plays barock violin and has recorded CD's with "Musiciens du Louvre".
