principal component analysis

Usage: pca in.list out.list

Description: Computes the main directions (2D or 3D vectors) of a set of points in 2D or 3D space, by the method of Pricipal Component Analysis (PCA).

The output is a file in the list "b" or "B" format that contains the following information:

• center of mass (point)
• first principal direction (vector)
• second principal direction (vector)
• for 3D images, third principal direction (vector)

Types supported: list 2D, list 3D
